Invented completed-sale example

The fill changes the account.

Assume all 80 shares actually sold at 46 CU/share. This completed-fill assumption produces a 320 CU price-only realised loss; only here do we also add the explicitly invented transaction costs.

Not a reported trade

“Actual” in this ledger means the fill state in an invented example. It is not an observed market transaction or a prediction of execution.

“Realised” is conditional on the assumed completed sale of the same 80 shares. No partial fill, additional fee or tax is calculated.

Supporting still life / separate recordsA clipped blank page and a loose draft remain distinct. Neither is a trade confirmation; the completed sale above is an invented assumption, not a reported transaction.

What the source supports

FINRA’s U.S. order-types guidance warns that a fill may differ from a displayed price. Its U.S. fees guidance notes that buying and selling can involve costs. Neither source supplies our invented prices or 2 CU and 3 CU charges.

What remains outside

Without a completed fill, a realised number is unavailable. This static calculation does not model partial fills, other prices or unknown costs. Next, Exposure sums purchase values, not sale losses.
