Evidence, not an instruction manual
Where each kind of claim comes from.
The numbers are invented; the equations are arithmetic inference. External material below is U.S. investor guidance, not a universal regulatory rule or a source for our example prices.
Source pages were consulted on 25 September 2026. “Undated” means no publication date was established for that page; the access date is not its publication date.

SO / 07FINRA · Stop Orders: Factors to Consider During Volatile Markets
Supports the U.S. stock caveat: a stop order becomes a market order when triggered; the execution price can differ markedly from the stop price. A stop-limit order may remain unfilled. Not a guarantee or a general order tutorial.
FINRA · Fees and Commissions
Supports noting transaction costs associated with buying and selling; zero commission is not zero total cost. The 2 CU buy cost and 3 CU sale cost here are invented, not quoted by FINRA.
FINRA · Order Types
Supports the U.S. stock-context caveat that a fill may differ from a displayed or quoted price. It does not predict whether or how much the fill will differ.
FINRA · Concentrate on Concentration Risk
Supports the limitation that overlapping or correlated holdings can create concentration. The invented 4,600 CU sum alone neither proves diversification nor quantifies concentration.
FINRA · Risk
Supports the U.S. investor-education reminder that investment risk cannot be eliminated. The 200 CU and 5,000 CU teaching boundaries are not FINRA thresholds.
FINRA · Margin Accounts
Supports only the U.S. margin exclusion: borrowing can involve losses beyond deposited funds. This site calculates fully paid long shares only; it does not model margin.
Correction procedure
When a source changes or a calculation is challenged, check the linked primary page and its date, reproduce the arithmetic with its stated units, then revise the affected line and source label together before republishing. No contact channel is implied by this static site.
Deliberate omissions
No inaccessible SEC page or timed-out CME material is cited as checked evidence. No live prices, margin formula, derivatives or universal trading rules are supplied here.
